Murder at the Louvre
Jacques Saunière, the curator of the Louvre museum in Paris, is shot one night by a monk named Silas. Before he dies, he arranges his body like Leonardo da Vinci’s famous drawing of a man in a circle and leaves a coded message.
Robert Langdon, a Harvard professor of symbols visiting Paris, is called to the scene. The police captain, Bezu Fache, secretly suspects him of the murder.
