Kiyosaki grew up with two father figures. His own father was highly educated and held a secure government job but struggled with money. His best friend’s father left school early and built businesses that made him wealthy.

The two men gave opposite advice. One said study hard and find a safe job. The other said learn how money works and make it work for you. The book is about the second way of thinking.
