A new neighbour

Mr and Mrs Bennet live at Longbourn in the English countryside with their five daughters: Jane, Elizabeth, Mary, Kitty and Lydia. Because the estate must pass to a male cousin, Mrs Bennet is desperate to see her girls well married.

When the rich, friendly Mr Bingley rents nearby Netherfield Park, he quickly falls for gentle Jane. His even richer friend, Mr Darcy, seems cold and proud, and at a ball Elizabeth overhears him say she is not pretty enough to dance with.
