The boy under the stairs

Harry Potter is raised by his unkind aunt and uncle, the Dursleys, who make him sleep in a cupboard under the stairs. He has a lightning-shaped scar and no idea why strange things happen around him.

On his eleventh birthday a giant named Hagrid arrives with news: Harry is a wizard. His parents were killed by the dark wizard Voldemort, who tried to kill baby Harry too but failed and vanished. In the wizarding world, Harry is famous.
